This
rings true in the form of various reviews they receive, one showcasing their
nomination for baking the highest scoring Christmas mince pies. A select panel tasted various mince pies from
all retail and baking outlets and Moemas was tops as published in the Star
newspaper. I made a special journey to
purchase half a dozen to take home for the Christmas period and they were
superb! What we all liked was their quaint mini size big on delicious flavour.
Served with a good cup of coffee these went down a treat – so much so that as
you read here, we are still raving about them!

Based in Parktown North, Moemas offer an exquisite range of foods, cakes, pastries, sweet and savoury tarts, steaming pies and delicious fresh salads, all made daily on the premises with only the best quality ingredients. They serve delicious lunches and are now open for dinner from Tuesday through to Saturday. They have a weekly draw from their lunch patrons where a lucky winner gets to bring three friends to Moemas for dinner for free (excluding wine). Who said there is no such thing as a free lunch? Well, there is now - a free dinner……………..
Moemas is very much a family business & their
family profile makes interesting reading on their website. They are located in the Parktown Quarter Centre
in Parktown North with plenty of secure off-street parking. The Moemas
philosophy is very much ‘slow food’. They would like patrons to take as much time
enjoying the meals as they have put into creating them. Pop in and enjoy fine
food!
